GRIEF CRY: IMMERSIVE WORKSHOP WITH VICTORIA HUNT

In this day-long workshop with our 2024 Responsive Resident Victoria Hunt, you will explore the body as an energetic potential within sensory fields. Drawing on Indigenous knowledges and Body Weather practice, participants will attune to states of change, both within the body, and the body within a complex set of relations. Themes of birth, death and renewal within terrestrial, subterranean, and cosmological frames will be examined.

The workshop will be held on Saturday 23 March, 10am to 5pm. Following the workshop, at 7pm, Victoria will share her work-in-development with audience feedback session at the end.

Register for the workshop and/or sharing by clicking through.

EOI call out: 2024 ECP

In partnership with Performance Space, we are now accepting applications for our annual Experimental Choreographic Residency (ECR) and the additional Experimental Choreographic LAB.

Available to an artist or collaboration from around Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand), the ECR supports the development of innovative, bold and experimental approaches to choreography.

When applying for the ECR residency, NSW-based artists can elect to be considered for the Experimental Choreographic Lab as well; an opportunity for a small group of artists to connect with experienced practitioners, explore their work in a collaborative setting, and expand their choreographic skills and techniques.

EOI closes Tuesday 2 April 2024
