Critical Path’s Central West Regional Practice Lab 4 – 9 November 2018

Critical Path’s Central West Regional Practice Lab 4 – 9 November 2018

Bathurst, Cowra and Orange

For this choreographic residency network project, that will connect artists working in dance & choreography to the Central West NSW region, Critical Path invited Tanya Brown, Susan Barling, Vicki van Hout and Rosslyn Wythes for a residency. The four artists will participate in a facilitated process of exploration and interaction with the three locations in Bathurst, Orange and Cowra. During this week, the artists will reflect on their practice in response to the Open Studio showing, where the artists will share their experience of situating their practice in the Central West region.

The aim of the Regional Practice Lab is to support more regional arts development, and to offer a framework for dance and choreographic research and development, as well as creating opportunities for access to the resources of the Central West region to independent artists. The residency is also part of an ongoing interest in future partnerships and projects between Critical Path and the Central West region.
