This workshop provides a practical and theoretical introduction to the collaborative practice of XiaoKe x ZiHan (SoftMachine). Hailing from mainland China their work explores the body in its extremes, reflecting on the social and political context of a centrally planned economy. Working between disciplines and often in public space, XiaoKe and ZiHan will provide strategies for collaboratively devising socially engaged works.
