Lee-Anne Litton, Alejandro Rolandi, NORPA
INFORM is a 2 year program partnership between NORPA and Critical Path which aims to explore and extend dance theatre practice in the Northern Rivers region, NSW.
The program creates a space for opening up ideas and broadening skills at the intersection of dance and theatre making. A series of 4 workshop-labs over two years will consider how dance and choreography can underpin an embodied approach to theatre and provide different methodologies for performance making.
INFORM #4 will see Strings Attached performance making duo Lee-Anne Litton and Alejandro Rolandi begin a conversation with the folk of the Northern Rivers about:
- Exploring the complex relationship between individual, place and collective, the pair will use their innovative methodology – combining aerial, dance and physical theatre – to unite the local community participants to generate a physical response to the site (buildings’ exteriors).
- Working in the open-air and public space, to democratise the creative process and nurture, in these globally challenging times, connection at a personal, local and global level.
