Critical Path is careful to respect and protect the privacy of its artists, audiences and other consumers. In the handling of your personal information, we are bound by Australian privacy laws including the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

As part of our day to day operations, we collect personal information from our participants, facilitators, audiences, patrons, e-news subscribers, supporters and volunteers.

This personal information generally includes your name and contact details. It may also include sensitive information about your professional history, your physical health, and your birthplace, cultural/linguistic background and ethnicity. Such sensitive information is only ever collected with your consent and only ever from artist participants and artist facilitators.

We may also solicit and record your feedback or opinions about our programs and organisation.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to tell you about our programs and events, and advise you about similar events from affiliated organisations whose activities might interest you.

Any sensitive information collected by us is only ever used to report back to our funding bodies when we acquit grants, and all such information is provided to such bodies anonymously.

Sensitive information about your health is only requested from participating movement artists and is only used to assess any risks concerning your physical safety when participating in our programs, or in the event of a medical emergency.

From time to time we may also use your personal information to solicit donations or other support from you.

We respect your privacy and will only disclose your personal information to third parties as outlined above.

If you do not want your personal information stored or used in a particular way, please advise us accordingly. In accordance with Australian privacy law, you may also choose to deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym, if practical.

All personal information we collect is solicited directly from you or through a ticketing agency.

We take reasonable care to make sure that any personal information we hold is kept securely to prevent unauthorised use.

If you wish to unsubscribe from our communication, please use the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the email or contact our office.

COMPLAINTS
