- all appointments of office-bearers and ordinary members

- proceedings at committee meetings and AGM
We are looking for someone with a passion for the arts, at ease with taking minutes and recording actions, willing to work collaboratively with the small staff team and other Board members. Additional expertise in marketing, fundraising or law would be welcome.
First Nations Representative:
This role is paramount to supporting the First Nations led program delivered by Critical Path’s First Nations Artist Curator (Jasmin Sheppard since 2023) and to ensure Critical Path’s Reconciliation plan is on track and updated as needed.
More broadly, the role contributes to guiding the strategic vision of the organisation from a First Nations perspective in collaboration with the other members of the Board.
Only Australian First Nations peoples may apply. An interest/experience in dance as an artist or artsworker in the professional sector is a plus.
Artist Representative:
Artists Representatives are essential in ensuring Critical Path thrives as a choreographic research and development centre dedicated to supporting the independent dance sector.
Artist representatives have a clear understanding of Critical Path’s history and role in the dance community. They are often themselves former or current beneficiaries of Critical Path activities. They contribute strategically to the future of the organisation with their lived experience as independent artist in the NSW dance sector.
Being an artist representative doesn’t prevent the artist from applying to Critical Path opportunities. We strongly encourage CALD/First Nations artists with contemporary or street dance experience to apply.
