An Australia Council Dance Board Fellow in 2012–2013, Sandra is engaged in the research and development of a series of installation works from the perspective of a choreographer. Using combinations of movement, video and sound, her work aims to explore the auditory, visual and embodied engagement between the audience and the performer.
Sandra Parker (Director/Choreographer) is a Melbournebased choreographer whose work has been presented around Australia and internationally, and the recipient of a Centenary Medal for Services to Australian Society and Dance in 2001. Upcoming presentations include Transit (Faits d’hiver, Paris 2013); and The Recording (Dance Massive 2013).
