Workshop and Afternoon Tea

Invitation to young dancers

A unique opportunity to participate in a Dance Workshop where young female dancers, (8 to 12 years old) will work with senior female dance artists –share ideas about dance and the creative process‘on the floor’ (wear clothes to move in) and hear about the work of these artists.

Julie-Anne Long (artist-scholar and Senior Lecturer in Dance and Performance at Macquarie University) and Charemaine Seet (director and teacher at Seet Dance, Sydney’s innovative contemporary dance school)will facilitate the afternoon.

Women’s Work Participating Dance Artists: Kay Armstrong, Sue Healey, Kathy Cogill, Anca Frankenhauser, Charemaine Seet, Rakini Devi, Anandavalli, Nikki Heywood and Lee Pemberton.
