Critical Path & PYT Fairfield – ‘Why Is This Contemporary?’ Lab

Artists in Discussion

In June, Critical Path and PYT Fairfield invited three Western Sydney artists Anna Kuroda, Eliam Royalness and Neda Taha to participate in WHY IS THIS CONTEMPORARY? lab facilitated by Martin del Amo. Through this lab artists examined and expanded their individual practices and considered how these practices sit in relation to contemporary art contexts.

The artists talked about their experience on working together and sharing their dance and movement practices.

Watch the video about the artists’ experience during this residency.

WHY IS THIS CONTEMPORARY? is a three-year partnership between Critical Path and PYT Fairfield.
