The Dancing Sydney – Artist-led Dance Archives gathering will no longer be taking place at Glebe Town Hall on Sunday 29 March.
Critical Path is currently in discussions with participating artists to look at the best way forward for those involved to complete the project.
At the end of a 3-year archive research project with 12 artists/artist collectives, Alan Schacher, Anandavalli, Branch Nebula, Dean Walsh, Frances Rings, Julie-Anne Long, Kay Armstrong, Martin del Amo, Narelle Benjamin, Rakini Devi, The Fondue Set and Vicki Van Hout, Critical Path will gather together some of them, and other experts to explore why archiving dance matters and to share some insights on its impact on practice. Facilitated by Erin Brannigan (UNSW) and Amanda Card (USYD).
