In this day-long workshop with our 2024 Responsive Resident artist Victoria Hunt, you will explore the body as an energetic potential within sensory fields. Drawing on Indigenous knowledges and Body Weather practice, participants will attune to states of change, both within the body, and the body within a complex set of relations. You will explore the instinctual body and atmospheric phenomena. Themes of birth, death and renewal within terrestrial, subterranean, and cosmological frames will be examined. The interplay of our ancestral connections, legacies, earth relations, and imaginings will focus the deep interconnections in this expanded world.

This workshop is a culmination of Victoria’s 3-week Responsive Residency in the Drill Hall. Following the workshop, at 5pm, Victoria will share about her process, a discussion which will organically grow out of the workshop experience.
