The Experimental Choreographic Residency (ECR) is presented by Critical Path and Performance Space. The ECR supports a 3-week period of research and creative development that explores experimental or interdisciplinary approaches to choreography. Both organisations support the artists in residence with financial, production, technical and creative support from both organisations.
In 2020, the ECR was awarded to Nat Randall and Anna Breckon for the development of their new work, Set Piece, which will premiere in Adelaide Festival in March. Critical Path supported the project by providing rehearsal space at The Drill Hall in December 2020 and January – February 2021.
