Curators of Lucy Guerin Inc,’s First Run, Luke George and Brooke Stamp, will join Critical Path’s Artist Representative Latai Taumoepeau to present a Sydney edition of First Run: a platform for sharing new explorations in current practice that are rough, raw, full of possibilities and open to discussion.
Luke George is a Melbourne-based dance artist whose practice of performing, choreographing and collaborating takes him throughout Australia, North America, Europe and Asia.
Brooke Stamp maintains a rigorous practice as a performer, choreographer and teacher in Melbourne, while continuing the development of her solo choreographic practice and interdisciplinary collaborations throughout Australia and overseas. Most recently she choreographed a commissioned work for Phillip Adams Balletlab.
Latai Taumeopeau is a Punake, body-centred performance artist. Her story is of her homelands, the Island Kingdom of Tonga, and her birthplace, the Eora nation – Sydney, and everything far and in-between.
