In her Responsive Residency, choreographer Sue Healey will delve into current states of play; in the microcosm of her kitchen, locally in Sydney and more globally in the current Trumpian Dystopia. This exploration through movement and image making will relate to five notions: receptivity to what is around us, working within limitations, awareness and attention to detail, movement in confined spaces and, in contrast, movement in vast open spaces.
As part of her residency, Sue will offer a series of 6 morning classes that will evolve to create a body of material that focuses on animating a large group of movers in a structured improvisation. Read more about the classes here.
