Matt Cornell will spend two weeks in the Drill Hall working through choreography, music and writing to discover and deepen analogues between bodies of water and our human bodies. Exploring issues and ideas around the value and ways we measure value in the labour force, jobs markets alongside that of water futures, and the trading of water options and the privatisation of bodies and/of water. How do we feel about and identify with fresh water? In what ways do we understand humanity and personhood and what does it mean to commodify and value these.
Matt will collaborate with diverse artists in his research including, Amy Zhang, Elle Evangelista, Rhiannon Newton and Sebastian Henry Jones.
