In 2023 five artists/collaborations will take forward their independent research activities within Critical Path’s program with support from Create NSW, engaging as an at distance action research group, alongside First Nations Research Fellow Jo Clancy.
Our five Action Research Artists are

- Nicole Schild with Louisa Magrics
- Helene Markstein with Fiona James
- Geraldine Balcazar with Ira Ferris and Stella Chen
- Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal
The artists working in Central Coast/Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains and Northern Rivers will receive money, space, and CP producer support to pursue an artist-led research query in relation to their ongoing practice.
Artists will during their delivery share their research more broadly – through participation, presentation, publication, or other methods suitable to their practice.
